Efteling

Efteling is a less well known (unless you’re Dutch) park in Holland but is absolutely superb at catering for all ages. There’s thrill rides, fantasy rides and even play parks. The theming is also very different to UK parks; it’s generally fantasy and mystery.

Queues can be lengthy at peak time so just make sure you research when Dutch and Belgium public and school holidays occur.

Plan your trip well and this is a must. It’s a large site and one day would never be enough.

If you’re staying till the end of the day there’s normally a show on by the lake as you exit.
